2003
    From January 2003 to March 2004, Caspeo is incubating to transfer the research results of BRGM into an offer of services destined to the industry.
    Caspeo is aided for that by the association Lanceo (ex Centre Incubation).

 What's incubation?
    Incubation enables anyone with a project (coming or not from a public research organization) to make use of the scientific and technological resources available in public research. Incubation covers initiation and development of innovating projects. It precedes operational implementation and usually lasts until the first financial round table has taken place. Incubators work in close collaboration with other project help lines, with investment funds (seed-money and venture capital funds) and also with facilities coming into play at the end of the incubation period (business and science parks, nurseries, young enterprise clubs, etc.).
