With a focus on providing leadership and opportunities to minerals industry professionals, the AusIMM delivers an ongoing program of professional development services.
AVENIA is the French competitiveness cluster dealing with the subsurface sectors. Its aim is to ensure the long-term use of the underground environment in the energy transition. It supports research projects in geosciences and fosters the transfer of technologies between the underground sectors: geological storage, geothermal energy, hydrogeology…
BRGM, the French geological survey, is France’s leading public institution for Earth Science applications for the management of surface, subsurface resources with a view to sustainable development. BRGM develops expert knowledge in resource management, risk management and innovative ecotechnologies. CASPEO is a BRGM spin off but is independent from it.
CIM, the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum, is the Canada’s leading professional association for the minerals related industries. CIM is dedicated to advancing knowledge, facilitating innovation, and promoting sustainable practices across the full spectrum of the minerals industry.
Extractis is the expert in plant-based biorefinery. Extractis is a French agro-industrial technical Institute specialized in plant biomass extraction, fractionation and chemistry and in innovative products/processes development.
SIM is the French Mineral Industry Society. The SIM is the association of mineral processing companies and people involved in these industries. It covers all aspects of the mineral industry from prospecting through extraction and processing to post-use treatment and recycling.
MetSoc is the Metallurgy and Materials Society. It is one of the four societies making up the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy, and Petroleum, CIM. The purpose of MetSoc is to serve members involved in the research, development and application of the science and technologies for the environmentally responsible extraction, fabrication, utilization and recycling of metals and materials.
SME is the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration. It represents all professionals serving the minerals industry in more than 85 countries. SME members are engineers, geologists, metallurgists, educators, students and researchers. SME advances the worldwide minerals community through information exchange and professional development.
SFGP is the French Society of Process Engineering. It brings together all the people who have a professional activity in the field of process engineering: researchers and professors, industrialists and equipment manufacturers coming from all sectors of activity: chemistry, oil, pharmacy , cosmetology, agri-food, stationery, metallurgy, water…
